Kornelia is a Lead Data Scientist in the AI & Analytics Accelerator (A3) team at Truist, where she uses AI & ML to inspire better lives and communities, foster teammate growth and boost product innovation. Her research focuses on text analytics using NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Neural network techniques together with visualization. Kornelia has worked in a number of data science positions for some of the biggest media agencies and market research organizations in London, UK, and Warsaw, Poland. This is where she discovered that she wants to broaden her knowledge in the area of Data Science and especially Natural Language Processing. Most recently, before joining Truist, she worked for GM’s Motorsport team providing support to NASCAR teams on image processing/ object detection and speech-to-text, entity detection, and relationship extraction. Kornelia completed her Ph.D. with a co-major in Operations Research and Computer Science at North Carolina State University.
