Transfer Partnerships
Transferring With An Associate Degree
The School of Data Science has partnered with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and Wake Technical Community College to allow graduates of the following Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degrees to earn a Bachelor of Science in Data Science at UNC Charlotte:
- Computer Programming and Development
- Data Science and Programming Support Services
- Business Analytics
Students may transfer a maximum of 64 semester credit hours.
In addition to meeting general transfer admissions requirements, a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for admission into the School of Data Science. Additionally, if CSC 151 is transferred, a grade of C or higher in this course is required to progress in the degree.

In addition to major specific courses in the table above, students are also encouraged to complete additional coursework, such as UNC Charlotte General Education Requirements, prior to transferring.
